The design of a ship needs a full portfolio of drawings. Having a good standardized quality of these drawings, creates a smooth and efficient ship building process. To contribute to the Ramp-up program of Meyer Turku, BlackSmit Solutions implemented an improved Quality Assurance process for design documents.

• Team leaders, designers & management developed together with Kasper Smit an improvement structure for quality assurance
• During the project, Kasper and the team developed a supporting IT-tool.
• At the end of the project, the team trained all design departments in the new QA process & supporting IT-tool.
